The Micsorosft team have released the new Media Player and available download for Windows 11 to Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel. The Microsoft team designed a new Media Player to make listening and watching your videos more enjoyable on Windows 11. Windows Media Player is a beautiful Media Player featuring a collection of music and videos on your computer and complementing the new look and feel of Windows 11.

If previously your music collection was in Groove Music, then after installing Windows Media Player your library and playlists will automatically migrate to Media Player instead of the Groove Music application.
A custom playback display displays the album cover and rich artist imagery will be displayed appearing in full screen and mini screens.
Media Player includes full support for browsing, managing, and watching your local video collection as well! All your content in the music and video folders on your PC will automatically appear in your library, but you can also tell Media Player where to look for additional content in the app’s settings. Microsoft has also optimized accessibility, with improved keyboard shortcuts and access key support for keyboard users and with other assistive technologies.
If you are still using the old version of Windows Media Player, it will continue to be available in Windows Tools.
